Go Abroad with the UO
There are many quotes describing experience abroad. One of them says: “Erasmus in not one year of your life. It's your life in one year.” However, no matter how hard we try, some things cannot be simply described by words. One has to experience it and feel the development during the stay abroad and also even long after it.
Traveling abroad for a study stay, internship or volunteer activity is not as difficult as it still seems to many students. If you are unsure of your language skills, afraid of the administration side or do not know how to handle it financially, check out this page. You will find out that if you put your worries aside, everything is possible.
The University of Ostrava knows the benefits of experience abroad for its students and that is why it tries to meet the needs and wishes of as many students as possible. Besides the well known European programme Erasmus+, it has created its own mobility programmes called VIA and OU Aid to give more opportunities to students not only when it comes to the capacity but also geographically. Even other exchange programmes exist, for example, the ones based on bilateral agreements at the individual faculties or grants from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
