| Anotation | The project focuses on current research issues in two geographical disciplines, political and cultural geography, as well as economic geography and regional development. The aim of the project is to demonstrate the ways in which both disciplines can contribute to the understanding of current issues in Czechia and especially abroad. The importance of the project lies in the discussion of a wide range of geographical topics and applied methods as well as the involvement of researchers and students at different stages of their careers. The sub-objectives of the project are based on the individual research topics. These include the situation of migrant workers in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the ethnic identity of the inhabitants of the Chittagong Hill Tracts region of Bangladesh, the contemporary far right political parties in Scandinavia, revolutionary socio-economic changes in Saudi Arabia, the causal context of the Serbian geopolitical tradition, the barriers to cross-border cooperation among integrated rescue system on the Czech-Saxon border, and the characteristics of productive enterprises and their ability to create economic value. |
