AnotationThe festival focused on instructive piano literature is a completely unique platform for connecting the teaching plans of the Department of Keyboard Instruments (KKN) with the practice of current students, OU graduates and teachers of the Moravian-Silesian music schools. Against the backdrop of getting to know Czech piano literature for children, a series of lectures, seminars, an interpretation course and a concert will take place over the course of two days. Students and KKN pedagogues take a significant part in the entire project, and we will also welcome experts in the given issue. The interpretation seminar will be led by pianist and pedagogue Martin Kasík. This year's edition is focused on the Czech piano study and the work of Carl Czerny. According to the experience so far, the project brings a unique opportunity to strengthen the independent creative activity of students in the field of interpretation and pedagogy and to enrich their studies at a practical and theoretical level. In connection with this year's theme, we plan to extend the lectures to physiological problems when playing the piano. This issue is very active among students, both from the point of view of solving problems with hands pain, and also from the point of view of prevention. Lectures will lead Marta Němcová, Ph.D. and Mgr. Jitka Medová. In developing this program, we cooperate very closely with the art departments of the OU Faculty of Arts. The videos and comments contained in the processed material stored on Moodle are welcome material to supplement the teaching, both in face-to-face and distance form. To a large extent, they serve as the basis for many diploma theses of students and the publication activity of pedagogues. Since 2019, the project has been accredited by the Ministry of Education for further education of teaching staff.
