Anotation | Cervical cancer is a malignant disease with a slight decrease in incidence. In the Czech Republic, its incidence is gradually decreasing. Around 800 diseases are diagnosed annually, and over 300 women die. Persistence of HPV infection is the strongest prognostic risk factor (especially its high-risk variants). Other risk factors are promiscuity, early coitarche, smoking, co-infection (Chlamydia trachomatis, HIV), and immunosuppression. In our work, we will focus on the evaluation of the detection of regression of HPV infection in patients of the Moravian-Silesian region. |
