Anotation | The project, divided into three sub-projects, deals with the synthesis of advanced porous materials - a composite based on hierarchically porous carbon and ZnO for the adsorption-photocatalytic decontamination of water from organic pollutants. The project also deals with the optimization of methods for determining the porosity (texture) of solids. The first technique is well- established gas sorption method, which will be optimised, among other things, with respect to the length of the analysis. The second technique is thermoporometry, an alternative method for porosity characterisation, which will be studied and optimized with respect to the use of different test fluids. |
