Anotation | The project is focused on the regulation of plant metabolites by various environmental factors and the contribution of these compounds to the protection against adverse stress conditions. The importance of spectral composition and temperature on the production of photosynthetically active pigments and low molecular weight protective metabolites will be studied in wild and mutant lines of Arabidopsis thaliana. Further, we will observe the effects of proteases and lipases on lipid phases and structural-functional parameters of the spinach thylakoid membranes. Doctoral students of biophysics (A. Volná, O. Dlouhý, R. Pech), three students of master degree (M. Vrábelová, N. Kuzniciusová, A. Vocílka) and one master´s degree student of experimental biology (S. Supová) will participate in the project solution. Members of this research team will focus in greater detail on sub-projects that will expand the scope of their dissertation or diploma thesis, and further develop knowledge or analytical methods applied in research at KFY OU. Cooperation on the preparation of a publication in an impacted journal and presentation of the results at two seminars or participation in scientific conferences is also expected |
