Anotation | Pupils´ learning process is significantly influenced by choice of study materials, their content and didactic purpose. However, it has been confirmed that the form of media - printed or digital - influences the entire process of knowledge acquisition. The project proposal reflects recent findings in the field of textbook and education media theory. Foreign researches highlight that the usage of digital texts for learning outlines a new challenge for the users as the strategy of learning from digital texts may not parametrically correspond to the mental processing of printed texts (Afflerbach & Cho, 2009, Hartman, Morsink, & Zheng, 2010, Kingsley, 2011). Recent researches have confirmed the significant role of the printed textbook as the main resource in the course of learning: the primary artefact of learning for pupils and the crucial material of lesson preparation for teachers (the resource of relevant information, topics and general methodical guidance of the lesson). Education is currently enriched by many other resources. The previous research (SGS1/PdF/2018 Podpora učebních strategií žáků prostřednictvím edukačních zdrojů), which will be built upon, suggested that textbook is only one of many learning resources, however, not always the primary one. Other text materials and digital resources (presentations, digital learning materials, shared texts on internet portals, etc.) are regularly used as well. The main interest thus lies in the role of a printed textbook in lower secondary school pupils? learning and its relationship to other, mainly digital, resources. The ways of using the sources to support pupils´ learning will be examined as well. |
