Anotation | The proposed project is focussed on the current topic of implementing active ageing policies in the Moravian-Silesian region. The ageing population affects demographic structure in all countries and thus becomes a global social challenge. The Moravian-Silesian region is also dealing with the problem of population ageing and population decline, and the conditions of the county are also specific given the history of the territory. The downturn in the heavy industry sector and the state of the environment (the region with the most burdened environment in Europe) are one of the factors influencing negative demographic changes in the population in the territory. Ongoing demographic changes require a comprehensive approach and interconnected public policies, capable of responding to radical demographic changes. The Madrid International Action Plan on Ageing from 2002 is focused on the area of ageing as part of the European Strategy Papers. From 2015, MPSV coordinates the ageing policy and the preparation for old age in the Czech Republic, at both departmental and inter-ministerial levels. At regional level, social policy is driven by strategic documents, most notably the Moravian-Silesian Region Development Strategy for the years 2009?2020 and the Moravian-Silesian Country Medium-Term Development Plan for the years 2015- 2020. The aim of this research project is to identify and describe how individual selected municipalities and their urban districts, following the newly adopted paper, Strategy for the Preparation for the Ageing of Society 2019- 2025, which is based on the project to implement the policy of ageing to the regional level, implement a policy of active, healthy and dignified ageing in their territory, excluding areas related to the provision of social services for the target group of seniors (anchored in the National Strategy for the Development of Social Services 2016 - 2025). And capture examples of good practice. |
