Anotation | Fuzzy relations, which use many-valued scales to model relationships between objects, have become an important tool for applications in diverse fields, including expert systems, decision making, approximate reasoning, control, data mining, and image processing. The project aims at advancement of selected theoretical and applied areas of fuzzy relational structures. In its theoretical part, the project is focused on generalizing various kinds of fuzzy relational compositions and their properties and studying the properties of fuzzy inference systems. The application-oriented part of the project consists in using the obtained theoretical results in selected methods of data classification, approximate reasoning, and control. |
