AnotationIn the framework of this project, which follows up on a series of previous projects, we want to focus on selected applications of fuzzy modeling and on the development of theoretical fundamentals of fuzzy mathematics, without which the applications themselves would not go. In particular, we intend to focus on fuzzy association analysis and other data-mining methods and their application for solving regression and classification tasks that will be verified on empirical data derived from physical, chemical or geological measurements. In addition, we will follow up on the research of fuzzy relation compositions that either are based on generalized quantifiers or implement the concept of excluding features (symptoms), and we will continue to solve fuzzy relational equations. We also want to follow up on the research of higher order fuzzy transformation, particularly, we intend to focus on new approximation subspaces, analysis of stochastic processes and numerical solution of partial differential equations, and on the research of algebraic structures for vaguely-defined objects. Further, we want to conduct a research in the field of classical and fuzzy topological dynamics that will be focused on the study of selected properties and their mutual relations. Last but not least, we want to research applications of fuzzy modeling methods in economics, especially in the assessment of customer creditworthiness and customer segmentation.
