| Anotation | The main activity of the project is the creation of a new research team, which will be engaged in research in the perspective field of immunotherapy using Natural Killer (NK) cells, which recognize and deliberately destroy tumor tissue cells in the so-called cell therapy. Although this is a modern, very attractive trend in the biomedicine and biotechnology industry, this research direction has not yet been established at the University of Ostrava or in the Czech Republic. The proposed project is therefore unique and offers high potential both for the production of top publication outputs and especially in the possibility of patenting, commercialization and utilization of the obtained results in the biotechnology industry and in clinical practice. |
