Anotation	1) Development of highly porous carbon gels with controlled mesoporosity by combining carbon gel and soft-templating processes.2) Modification of the surface composition of the carbon by N to improve the targeted properties.3) Evaluation of the potentialities of these new materials by testing their specific properties for water depollution and energy storage (supercapacitors). To reach these objectives, a Czech ? France collaboration is proposed between two laboratories that have complementary expertises. The Department of Chemistry (DC) of the University of Ostrava (Czech republic) and the Institut de Science des Matériaux de Mulhouse (IS2M) from France.
