| Anotation | The project focuses on quantitative and qualitative assessment of spatio-temporal changes in landscape affected by the process of industrialization. Anthropogenic influence related to the industrialization process will be studied from the long-term perspective (from the 1830s to the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries) using a wide range of historical sources (historical maps, historical aerial photographs, written materials of archival character, and statistical figures of given periods). The submitters will carry out an objective study of the influence of man on landscape changes in the process of capitalist and socialist industrialization. The study will be based on the microanalysis of more than twenty cadastral areas found in the zone of the Ostrava-Karviná mining district. |
