University Portal of the University of Ostrava
The OU University Portal is an internal information system of the University of Ostrava, which is a basic source of information for students and employees of the OU. It is also a gateway to other internal information systems.
Login details to OU systems
Within 24 hours of enrolment, you will receive information with login details to OU systems to the email provided in the e-application form.
Study and technical matters
Everything about final theses, information about accommodation, study and examination regulations and other standards, news and information about individual faculties can be found in the Portal. You can also use it to report issues related to information systems, etc.
Offers for students and employees
The University of Ostrava has established many collaborations in the last year. The Portal now also includes a section for students and a section for employees. You can find here discounts on tickets to the theatre, concerts and other events, discounts within the TEP sports programme (up to 50% off), as well as current offers for temporary jobs and internships in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Student organisations
In the OU Portal you will also find a list of all student organisations active at the OU and its faculties. You may not have known that our students are behind Ostrava's spectacular Majáles or that you can meet hundreds of international students every month at Nation4Nation.
