| Annotation: | The aim of course: The course focuses on the skills and knowledge needed to implement evidence-based practice in nursing practice. It acquaints students with a deeper use of specialized databases, critical evaluation and utilization of research results in nursing practice. Students gain knowledge and skills needed for critical assessment of current scientific and professional publications. They learn the basic algorithm for evidence-based practice: a specific patient - a clinical question - find and evaluate relevant evidence - the application to practice and change monitoring. Learn to work with the available electronic databases, search and analyze recent valid source and apply the best evidence for a specific patient in clinical practice. |
