Annotation: | The course prepares students to conduct qualitative research independently. The student will learn how to develop a qualitative research design proposal containing a rationale for choosing an appropriate research approach/method, data collection techniques, and selecting informants. The graduate will be able to evaluate ethical dilemmas arising from the proposed research procedures and work with these by research ethics. The student can also assess the time requirements of research and carry it out. The student can evaluate the advantages and limitations of the chosen qualitative research strategy and methods used and reflect on these in data processing, analysis, and interpretation. |
