Przedmiot przybliża rozwój historyczny państwa polskiego od 1900 r. po czasy współczesne, szczególna uwaga jest zwrócona na stosunki polsko-czeskie. Oprócz kontekstu polityczno-historycznego wykłady przybliżają różne zagadnienia dotyczące aktualnych wydarzeń w Polsce. The subject follows historical development of Poland since 1900 up to present day with respect to Polish-Czech relations. Besides the politico-historical context, the lessons will also focus on various questions concerning current affairs in Poland.
