Annotation:This course provides students with a comprehensive overview of artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in various aspects of daily life and education. The aim is to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to understand and utilize AI tools effectively. Through exploring AI's history, ethical considerations, and capabilities, students will gain insights into how AI transforms modern education and other domains. A strong emphasis is placed on critical thinking, ethical perspectives, and the integration of AI into educational practices to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. Course Objectives: To develop a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence, its history, and types, as well as its ethical and practical implications. To explore and critically evaluate the opportunities and limitations of AI in education and everyday contexts. To familiarize students with specific AI tools and platforms, including chatbots, citation tools, and advanced content creation technologies, and to develop the skills needed for their effective use. To guide students in analyzing and classifying AI tools for education, promoting their ability to select and implement these tools based on practical needs. To encourage ethical and reflective use of AI technologies, fostering responsible and innovative applications in both teaching and professional environments. This course bridges theory and practice, preparing students to navigate the evolving landscape of AI in education while empowering them to harness its potential responsibly and effectively.
