Annotation:	The course Women in Science focuses on the 13 famous women from antiquity to modern days who have fundamentally influenced the history of science. The aim is to get students to acknowledge the history of their scientific work, as well as the circumstances in which they published their ideas and works. The lectures are supplemented by the interpretation of authors' texts, with which the students get acquainted in advance. Students will not only learn how to analyse a scientific text. But as well, they will be able to place thinkers in a broader historical and social context.
