The course provides students with basic information about the field of pediatrics, diseases in children, familiarization with medical care in health facilities and in the home environment. It contains information on development, physiology, hereditary defects. It extends knowledge of social pediatrics, child, family and society issues, including pathology. The aim of the lesson is to offer sufficient knowledge leading to the ability to see the child throughout the complex of its environment.
