Annotation:The cycle of lectures and exercises combines theoretical and practical teaching and is focused on the limits of digital image - manipulation, destruction, and image generation in various software. The student will learn about the critical approach to the digital image. He/she may find an experimental approach to painting on examples of controlled destruction, manipulation, and accidental image generation. The student applies the principle of repetition using templates in his/her selected theme. Template creation is realized in vector software including pre-press preparation and export of data for cutting plotter, laser and engraving into various materials. In addition to mastering a wide range of technological processes for the creation and use of digital image and application in painting, the aim is also to adopt critical thinking in the approach to the creation of a work of art. Computer image processing with an emphasis on use in artistic practice is proved on examples from history from the 1950s to the present.
