Annotation: | The course in Solo Performance aims to develop technical and artistic abilities of each individual player. While studying technically demanding pieces, students aquire and develop skills relevant to their instruments (keystrokes, leaps, fingering, pedalling etc.) alongside with technical skills. Students also work on developing their individual musical voice and stylistically adequate musical expression. They study major musical pieces (such as concerts and sonata cycles). Individual study plans are devised by tutors according to needs and skills of individual students. Requirements: Required number of etudes and/or technical exercises (as prescribed individually by tutor) will be studied Performance of solo works programme (with or without accompaniment) at the interpretation seminar is mandatory Repertoire may adapt according to requirements of various competitions student might participate in. Content: Individual seminars´ detailed content is based on selected repertoire Individual study plans are devised by tutors according to needs and skills of students |
