The course is designed as theoretical and practical. It defines demography and its specifics, especially the process of demographic reproduction. It deals with demographic statistics and dynamics, comments on the demographic situation in the Czech Republic and Europe (or the world) and the expected development. It specifies the main indicators of population health, their calculation and interpretation.
