Annotation: | The second term of the first study year of the Master's degree program continues, develops and concludes the activities started in the previous term. It is a period designed to maximise the study range, consolidate the skills and knowledge from earlier periods and recapitulate them before the student will concentrate on their practical application in the final project in the following year. - monumental drawing - minimal and formally elementary drawing - creation of a painting image - creating a hanging painting, without the need for painting - the use of the electronic painting - use of vector drawing and plotter The theoretical training holds an insight into the organization and management of exhibition operations, sociological and pedagogical perception of artistic activities, and supports a continuous building of an overview of the basic trends relevant for the art production of the late twentieth century up to the present. - participatory strategies in art - creation of collaborative networks - participation in modes of creation and presentation based on groupings - reflection on one's own work in relation to one's future employment in exhibition operations, gallery or educational institutions - student portfolio - textual description of own work If it proves necessary, the student can also change the direction of his/her work here and pursue another, hitherto unexplored area. - artistic experiment - foreign or domestic internship Studio lectures, in its practical (author's projects) and theoretical part (explanations and discussions), serves as a space for applying the skills and knowledge acquired at various levels of the earlier studies. - participation in workshops and - participation in exhibition projects organized by the studio, other entities and organizations - monitoring of the artistic scene and events, the student is regularly informed about the galleries and other institutions´ appeals/challenges, and the studio peers consult with the student his/her own original exhibition attempts By this time, the student has already gained a clearer idea of the shape of his/her artistic possibilities and can therefore make adequate decisions about the choice of subjects of study in relation to the expected orientation of his/her future focus. |
