Annotation: | Open-air practice introduces students to various forms of landscape imaging, artwork in the landscape and with landscape. From classical and factual conception to abstracted forms with an emphasis on individual approach. The depictive recording of the landscape itself (whether stemming from classical conception or more abstracted form) is simultaneously associated with conceptual approaches - e.g., land-art (Long, Heizer, Smithson, Goldsworthy), drawing and landscape scale concept (De Maria, Muniz, Serra, Oppenheim) or a drawing conceptual project on the theme of landscape (Christo, Flimsy, Pepperstein) Approaches responding to the site perception. The results are continuously corrected and confronted by the teacher in the working group. The course takes the form of an intensive weekly stay, during which several tasks are continuously looked upon. |
