Annotation:	The content of the lectures is presentation of the basic syntactical terms, syntactical theories, problem of clauses and various types of sentences. Seminars build on the lectures, and the work in them focusses on practical exercise of the phenomena, with which the students are being acquainted in the lectures of grammatical theory. It concerns the following topics: types of sentence structure according to valence, semantic side of sentence structures, main constituents and adjuncts, word order in German sentences, functional sentence perspective, theme - rheme.
