Annotation: | The aim of the seminar is to further develop competence in spoken and written professional communication in economic German. Attention is paid to practising communicative skills (reading, listening comprehension, oral and written expression), expanding knowledge of economic terminology in German and deepening professional knowledge based on the analysis of the current economic situation in German-speaking areas and the Czech Republic and working with authentic spoken and written texts. The aim of the seminar is to familiarize students with the basics of marketing, the individual components of the marketing mix and the methods used in marketing research by analyzing concrete examples of marketing strategies. The student will apply the acquired knowledge practically when creating and presenting his/her own marketing mix for a selected product or service. Attention will also be paid to advertising issues, communication with customers and analysis of specific advertising outputs. |
