Annotation:Our environment is constantly changing worldwide and people are facing various environmental problems related to water, soil, air, vegetation, animals, etc. Moreover, there is still an open question how significant is the role of humans in the changing environment. The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the natural and anthropogenic aspects of environmental problems related to climate change, mineral resources, landcover changes, and water/air pollutions. Moreover, students will be enriched by knowledge about the recent and future trends, vulnerability, mitigation, and adaptation to selected environmental problems. Students will actively participate during the lectures through discussion focusing on their own experiences, ideas and opinions about the strategy and solution of selected problems.
