Annotation:	The course equips students with both theoretical and particularly practical information about the United States of America. Besides information about the formal structure of the American government, the system of education, geography or religion, students are as well acquainted with the individual aspects of everyday life in the US. Presentations are accompanied by visual aids. The course aims to prepare students for everyday situations, helps them to become well informed about another cultural environment and to understand the American mentality.
