| Annotation: | The course familiarizes students with the development of British literature in the 20th century, deepening their knowledge of main trends in British prose, poetry and drama. It provides a socio-historical context in which to understand this development, both from the chronological and thematic point of view. In seminars, students will read a number of key texts to practice their skills of literary interpretation and analysis. |
