Annotation: | The course aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need for professional work with texts of a variety of genres either within their potential job agenda in companies or institutions, or during their careers as translators and a follow-up study of language, lingustics, or translation. The course presents characteristics of genres relevant for the graduate profile of the study programme, introduces students to a number of text analysis methodologies and develop their ability of critical reading. |
