| Annotation: | The aim of the cours is to acquaint the students with the representation of the British society in the literary works of the given periods. Through writings of preeminent British authors (J. Swift, Ch. Dickens, G. Orwell etc.) the students will explore the formative events and key problems of individual periods, from the 18th century to the present. |
