UO Summer School 2025

Join the University of Ostrava’s Summer School and take the first step toward launching your own start-up! This international programme, held annually at the end of August, provides an exciting opportunity to develop business ideas, improve language skills and connect with students from around the world.

Entrepreneurship IS for Everyone

Many great business ideas simply need a little encouragement to come to life. For the fourth year in a row, we are excited to welcome back Fabio Papa, a professor of Economics from the University of Macerata. His engaging teaching style and extensive entrepreneurial experience provide students with essential tools to design and develop their own start-ups.

A Balanced Approach

Success is not just about business – it is also about well-being. Our programme includes workshops on well-being and nutritional counseling, ensuring that students maintain a healthy balance while pursuing their ambitions. Additionally, participants will explore Czech culture and language and visit some of the most beautiful sites in the city and region.

Earn ECTS Credits

This interactive programme allows students to earn 3 ECTS credits, making it both an enriching and academically rewarding experience.
