The Dean of the Faculty of Education of the University of Ostrava has announced a job vacancy
- VP4 Specialist – junior/postdoc (Laboratory of Physiology and Physical Stress and Laboratory of Functional Anthropology) of the LERCO project, reg. no. CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000003 for the Department of Human Movement Studies, Faculty of Education, University of Ostrava
This is a new position filled in accordance with the conditions of the Life Environment Research Center Ostrava project (LERCO, reg. no. CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000003); Research program 4.

Job description
- work in the Laboratory of Exercise Physiology and the Laboratory of Functional Anthropology on an innovative scientific project investigating mutual associations between air pollution, physical activity and human health (Life & Environment Research Center Ostrava (LERCO) – Program 4)
- publishes within the project
- participates in the preparation of methodological materials
- coordinates Ph.D. students and laboratory workers in data collection and analysis
- ensures the operation of the Laboratory of Exercise Physiology and the Laboratory of Functional Anthropology within the LERCO project
- participates in data collection as needed
- prepares data for analysis and backup
Estimated amount of employment
- 0.3 part-time
Qualification and other prerequisites
- completed Ph.D. study in the field of kinanthropology or a similar field related to human health, or other fields after personal consultation
- sense of scientific work
- time flexibility (irregular working hours, work in the afternoon)
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- positive attitude to work, responsibility, reliability, independence and diligence
- knowledge of AJ
Estimated start date
- from 1 February 2024, or by appointment
- the employment will be agreed for a fixed period
