• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the field of Natural Science
• English language competency B2 or higher
• ability to teach in both Czech and English language
• prerequisites for working with students
• research and publication activities in the field of Natural Science
• EU research level: R2 - Recognized
• independent, responsible and creative approach to work
• communication and organisational skills
  
  

Job description

• guaranteeing and teaching subjects in bachelor's and follow-up master's degree programmes, both in Czech and English (subjects within the study programme Environmental Geography that are focused on geographic information systems and remote sensing of the Earth)
• supervising and opposing theses
• taking part in the state examination commissions of bachelor's and follow-up master's degree programmes
• scientific and publishing activity (at least 2 research articles Jimp and Jost per year)
• active participation in conferences
• promotion of the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology

The first round of the selection procedure will take place without the personal presence of the applicants by the assessment of the submitted materials by the selection committee.

The Dean of the Faculty of Science reserves the right to invite only selected candidates to a personal meeting and also the right to select no candidate. The Dean of the Faculty of Science is also entitled to cancel or repeat the selection procedure.
