START-UP grant

The START-UP grant is a competition announced by the dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ostrava (FM UO) and the director of the Ostrava University Hospital (FN Ostrava) in six scientific areas of medicine:

Oncology and hemato-oncology
Neuroscience
Information technology, robotics, artificial intelligence and virtual reality in medicine
Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
Surgical disciplines with a preference for minimally invasive surgery
Epidemiology

The duration of the START-UP grant is set for a period of 12 – 36 months.
