Annotation:The course aims to provide foundational knowledge in the comprehensive care of individuals with physical disabilities and chronic conditions. Students will explore the etiology, characteristics, and symptomatology of frequently encountered disabilities and chronic and rare diseases. With this understanding, the course will examine the impact of disabilities and chronic illnesses on educational quality and student success. Emphasis will be placed on applying supportive measures in educational settings, covering assessment techniques, counseling, various supportive strategies, specialized teaching methods, and knowledge of relevant assistive technologies. Students will learn about the effective use of didactic and compensatory tools. The course also aims to develop practical skills to enhance fine motor and graphomotor abilities, communication, and integrate elements of selected therapeutic approaches. Finally, the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, integral to comprehensive care, will be highlighted throughout the course
