| Annotation: | The objective of this subject is to acquaint with the history and culture of Latin America and learn to orientate well in the current socio-political situation in Spanish-speaking countries. After completing this subject, the student will acquire knowledge of the history of Latin America from pre-Columbian times to the present and will be familiar with the outline of art, architecture, customs, traditions and cultural heritage. He or she will be able to express himself/herself in writing and orally in Spanish. El objetivo de esta asignatura es proporcionar a los alumnos un conocimiento general de la historia y cultura de América Latina y enseňarles a orientarse mejor también en la situación sociopolítica actual en los países de habla hispana. Después de completar esta asignatura, el estudiante adquirirá conocimiento de la historia de América Latina desde la época precolombina hasta el final de las guerras por la Independencia y obtendrá igualmente información básica sobre el arte, la arquitectura, y el patrimonio cultural. En seminarios, el alumno es conducido a una expresión oral activa en espaňol. |
