Courses

The course combines theoretical and practical teaching and develops experimental and conceptual approaches in painting. Besides the software art, the student expands his/her expressive means and while working he/she develops his/her own methods of using digital image in painting. The student works with a wide range of mobile applications with a touchscreen and with different operating systems and gets familiar with their design and creation. Furthermore, emphasis is placed on the presentation and creation of a student web presentation while making use of the maximum available technical possibilities (website, application, online portfolio). The aim is to develop a wide range of creative technological processes and experimentally using the digital image in painting and to adopt critical thinking in the approach to the creation of a work of art. Computer image processing with an emphasis on use in artistic practice is proved on examples of contemporary artistic production.
