Annotation:	The course following contrastive propaedeutic seminars in the previous half-term concentrates on application of basic translation strategies on texts in German-Czech relation and on consolidation of current translation habits of the listeners. Listeners will gain insight into the problems of equivalence, adequacy and pragmatics of the translation based on the presentation of their own solutions of translations, appropriateness of which will be analyzed and critically evaluated in the seminars. The working material will thematically be based on social science and popular science texts.
