| Annotation: | The aim of the course Kultura a tradice německy mluvících zemí 1 is to introduce students to several areas of art and common life. Each part is devoted to a certain historical period and students will gain the most important information: about the German literature - development tendencies, important authors and their works; about music - they will know the most important composers and characterise the period in which they created; and will be acquainted with the most influential works in painting, sculpture and architecture. The first part will start by the period of the first German cultural monuments and end by "Sturm und Drang" movement. The attention will be focussed also on Austria and marginally also on the other German-speaking countries. |
