| Annotation: | The discipline introduces students to the basic procedures of translation criticism mainly from the point of view of text linguistics and of literary theory. Students will be introduced to the selected theoretical approaches of Czech as well as foreign translation critics. Theoretical postulates will be demonstrated using older as well as modern Czech translations of foreign literary works, occasionally foreign translations of Czech literary works. |
