Annotation:	This course aims to present a basic intellectual framework of the transition from natural philosophy to (natural) science that allegedly took place during the 16th and 17th centuries. Based on a critical evaluation of the secondary sources and analysis of crucial primary sources, we will attempt to reconstruct the intricate process known as the emergence of modern science in our meetings.
