| Annotation: | The goal of the subject is to provide the students with the rudiments of verse theory, as it was elaborated by Miroslav Červenka and his continuators, the members of the Versification Research Group, Institute for Czech Literature, Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic. The attention will be mostly paid to the traditional, qualitatively-oriented verse studies (versification systems, insights into the history of Czech verse, etc.). Practical training, helping students to practise the acquired skills, will be part of the courses, too. |
