| Annotation: | The course introduces students to the problems of the language of economics and corporate communication. The present course aims to equip students with the knowledge of specialist language and communication skills needed for further studies. Predominantly it focuses on the terminology of topics listed below which also form subjects of a thorough language analysis. Emphasis is put on authentic texts and recordings. Students are also acquainted with the principles of formal / informal communication, various types of communicative situations in the workplace, which can arise from working in an international environment, and analyse typical written and oral workplace genres. Practicing professional terminology and seminar content is an integral part of the course content in LMS Moodle. |
