Annotation: | The aim of this subject is to deepen the knowledge of the processes of teaching and learning a foreign language. Students will become aware of the psycholinguistic theories and historical methods underlying the modern teaching principles. Emphasis will be placed on the teaching of effective development of linguistic and communicative competences, motivation based education principles, the theory of didactic constructivism as a paradigm of modern education, the TPACK model and the utilization of modern technologies in education. While covering the field of teaching aids, the students will be introduced to the creation, utilization and assessment of didactic materials, they will also gain some teaching experience through their own performance in front of a fictitious class, which will enable them to acquire some necessary teaching skills. |
