Anotation | The project Education without Barriers: The Path to Digital Inclusion focuses on the exploration, design, and pilot implementation of modern digital technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), and 3D printing, in school environments to support inclusive education for students. The key objective is to develop educational activities and methodologies that eliminate barriers, promote diversity in classroom teaching, and improve teachers' readiness to work in inclusive settings. The project places special emphasis on tailoring these technologies to the specific needs of the Czech educational system, particularly in supporting students with autism, dyslexia, attention disorders, sensory impairments, or physical disabilities. It combines the synergies of AI for diagnostics and individualized learning, VR/AR for interactive student engagement and scenario simulations, and 3D printing for creating tangible teaching aids and models. These tools will be developed in collaboration with selected schools, where they will be tested and optimized based on feedback from teachers and students. The project outcomes include a comprehensive set of educational procedures, practical methodologies, and teaching materials that will facilitate the integration of digital technologies into classroom instruction. These materials will contain specific recommendations for working with individual technologies, examples of best practices, and proposals for activities tailored to different types of students with special educational needs (SEN). The project will also enhance the skills and competencies of teachers, contributing to more effective support for students with SEN in their educational and social inclusion. The proposed SGS project aligns with the research focuses of both participating departments and will support students in successfully completing their final academic theses. |
