AnotationSuccess in modern society largely depends on an individual's ability to adapt to changes arising from an evolving reality and the advent of modern technologies. In specific regions, such as the Moravian-Silesian Region, the situation is also influenced by the decline of the heavy mining industry, the integration and transformation of other industrial sectors. This reality brings with it many factors that will impact both society and individuals living in the region. The transformation of these changes is reflected mainly in a person?s subjective self-concept, where the school as an institution plays an important role. This project will focus on specific aspects of education, social inclusion, and the school success of children in the region, aiming to analyze the situation and the level of social support as a basis for a strategy to improve the educational system and support disadvantaged students and their families. The project also seeks to identify factors related to resilience and coping strategies that this cohort utilizes. The project should contribute to developing specific measures in the field of education to support resilience, school success, and better adaptation to changes associated with the region?s transformation. The main goal of the project is to examine the resilience of students and families in response to changes in the areas of education in the context of social support. Keywords: transformation, self-concept, social support, resilience, school success
